I was worried for a while that PS2 wouldn't include any air-to-ground weapons besides missiles and rockets (I hadn't seen any real bombs yet), but it looks like we'll all be able to high altitude bomb the crap out stuff just like in PS1. Hurray!

That should change the dynamic of the game pretty significantly from PS1. Every one seater was pretty lackluster against infantry (unless you had great aim with the mossie)

I wonder if the altitude will be as high as in PS1. I remember sometimes seeing Libs so high you can just barely see them.

The flight ceiling in PS2 will be much, much higher.

But view distances will be a lot higher as well, so you've got to take that into consideration.

This isn't related to bombs, but will there be dumbfire rockets for aircrafts/AA/AV weapons? Because I don't really like how everything is just "Lock, Fire, Repeat" to take down aircrafts in Battlefield 3.

i would expect the dumbfire rockets to be for AI and AV, as for AA i am expecting AA misiles at long to medium range with guns for up close furballs.
