in the US, you have to have a license for that particular state... don't know how that works in Canada though

Yes, scary. He tells me tales of winters that reach temperatures of below -15 degrees celsius and all sorts of other crazy things like emu farms. Canada sounds like a very strange place to be by his account, but it could just be that the guy's a looney bin. I'm gonna stick with the scary place story anyway though.
