I hope that this new turret kinda work like "anti-air rocket pods" * instead of shooting lock on missiles. In other words, compared to the existing flak turret, this one would have a slower rate of fire but higher damage. I think this would make it better than flak against slow/hovering aircrafts.
*oh the irony!

Historically the automation of defences required radar.
Interlink facilities on PS1 provided radar. We know interlink facilities are in the roadmap. Hmmm.... I hope they are automated. Yet significantly more effective when manned. |

Perhaps I'm just seeing things. EDIT: Ah so those are the old Alpha walls eh? Guess I was seeing things. Still nice turret. Last edited by CrimsonTemplar; 2013-02-22 at 09:18 AM. |

I don't know if its specific to EU Cobalt, but I find wall turrets are underused in PS2. Imagine if a facility's defenses were fully manned. Of course they would require engineer support as they do tend to end up destroyed, occupied or not. |

Aye, I'm guilty of it myself.
They also appear to add to the killcount for weapon medals, even when unoccupied. I don't know whether that's intentional, but it happened to me once. But still, all stations operational and supported must be quite hard to crack. |

Memory training by binding something specific to a certain image.
It's a common type of practice if you want to keep your brain fresh. Associate something with an image and you'll remember it everytime. Last edited by Sprintfox; 2013-02-22 at 09:20 PM. |
