Wow, you were able to quote their first quarter US market share and do it wrong.
Apple's market share is actually surging at the moment, with a 16***37; increase in 2006 and steadily growing. And like it or not, its going to continue to grow, believe it or not Apple's are selling more and more then they ever have. Whether you tend to like their hardware or their software, or not. Gryphon: In business, when it comes to competitors, market share is everything.

Yeah, but what does that have to do with the topic? You can have nice market share and a bad product. By that reasoning you should be still using Windows and not currently an Apple defense specialist in a topic that didn't prompt it.
There is also a difference in market share and market share increase. You can have 100***37; increase in 2006, sell more than you ever have and still have .05% market share. Let down the guard a little there, going to blow a gasket. Last edited by Ghryphen; 2007-01-10 at 04:59 PM. |

Even if it is 16***37; that is still way below PCs. Mac market share will never get close to PCs, no matter which quarter I quote.
And I am not a mac hater. I own an iBook. Its a nice machine. Lets just be realistic here. You said it yourself Infernus, market share is everything. And in market share, PC wins hands down. Last edited by Jaged; 2007-01-10 at 05:26 PM. |

Skiping the debate in the thread. Apple says they're revolutionizing the phone. But all they're doing is putting stuff that's already ou there in a preaty package with a mac OS. The treo has been doing this for a year or two now.
Anyway I like my phone smaller than a brick no matter what is does, this thing is HUGE.

I have never been much of a fan of the Treo, I had one for a year or so at my last job and it was just shitty. I didn't like the interface, it froze on me here and there and PalmOS is just.. old. It's time for something new.
I got the Motorola Q for about a month, that thing was a serious piece of shit. Battery died in a day, lockups, crashes I got the F out of VZW before my 30 days - they still tried to charge me cancellation fee's but I fought the bastards and won. |
