The case is only 189$. The cost for that is including keyboard mouse 3.5floppy drive full set of fans and an extra thing for HDD that has extra temp sensors. And a dual UV cold cathoide light and UV reactive stuff on all the wires in it. 8) Oh yea, a 6 swtich bus with on, low power and off for the 6main fans. Im then getting a heat tempeture thing, those little pyramid things, to hook up afew more bigger fans if theres room. And the HDD thing will have stuff to run fans for my HDD when i switch to 10,000 rpm. And its a ful sized tower. i couldnt find anything at that price range except full cherry wood ones. IF anyone knows of a place ot buy 500$ range full sized plastic cases give me a post. I may still switch cases if theres one good enough.
The 500 includs all that stuff, not hte 189. Except the 6 fans and the 500Watt psu. Ok the 500might include Perhipheral cooling, but not sure. Might have to add some more $ for those. 8) Last edited by Ait'al; 2003-12-01 at 05:42 PM. |

129 is a good price for a good case, Lots of realy nice ones can cost up to 200 (no fans or PSU either). I relay realy want to get this case http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/cas-114.html its 74 dollars with now fans or PSU but its a mid tower, full towers cost much more. Boy boy would my baby look cool, and run cool too.

im just worried they dont automatically set aside teh blue power suply that they advertise with it because it out of stock for atleast individual sale. Im guessing they do though because teh case is under modify and theres no option to change to another psu and hte case is still in stock. http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/cas-120.html when i first started out i was expecting up to 1000 dollars. 8) but i cant find anything that expensive. You can buy some nice water cooled fully modded out cases with like sparkle or enermax 550+ psu's for the 500+ range.
This one is pretty sweet, I love rack mounts: http://www.directron.com/rm14u.html Not pretty but extreme cooling: http://www.directron.com/swiftcase.html After fully decking this sucker out $$$ can get up there: http://www.cooltechnica.com/Merchant...Code=H2O-Cases Rather nice one here: http://www.sundialmicro.com/cgi-bin/sundial/atc310.html And if you just want something totally insane: http://www.rackmountpro.com/productpage.cfm?prodid=1908 Last edited by Daleon; 2003-12-02 at 08:41 AM. |

Not all of them were rack mounts. The one from cooltechnica uses the AquaExtreme cooling system, making it rather nice setup.
The Blade server? Heh, yea those are nice. You have to order from someone like Compaq Business if you want high end It2's in blade servers. And you would normally mount it in a server rack chasis, which are rather expensive themselves. |
