I think since they don't seem to be advertising any new graphics engine, beta in Q4 '11/Q1 '12 would make sense. From compiling what most of you guys think, mid summer 2012 release 'should' follow.
Plus: from a marketing point of view A LOT of gamers are going to be out of highschool and university with some free time on their hands -- why not pick up that sick new game.
