Because either A) I belong to a Warhammer 40K cosplay group (I'm building a Dark Angels Space Marine) and/or B) I wanna one-up Stephen Long's Longstrike, I'm getting two of these:

It would be neat if the crosshairs are ARMA style; meaning that rather that flaring open when one walks, the crosshairs dance across the screen but remain tight. That would also allow weapons to feel powerful, like firing the MCG without a rexo, one could have the crosshairs rotate and jerk to the right of the screen from the torque and recoil. that would be cool.

I really, really don't like the quad barrel design. I know that the TR are all about circles, but the tri-barrel just looks way fucking better.

Looks cartoony from this angle but when its in the game it will probably be good. :-) Damn chaingun. :/ I always hated that thing in PS1. People would say the JH was better but I liked to play at range/med assault so I never used JH and I hated mc TR.

I'm just thinking that if they do the sound effects right- the quad barrel design is going to sound pretty bad ass too. I'm thinking a deeper more classic whirling sound (helicopter minigun sound but deeper?), as opposed to the comparatively more lazy popping sound the ps1 mcg made. But don't get me wrong, I really really really loved my old MCG If anyone here remembers me, that thing was like my 5th limb.

Either way though, just like all the other HA weapons.. when you hear this thing coming, you should know EXACTLY what it is. Jackhammer was a lot like this too. Boom-chicka Boom-chicka Boom-chicka (oh shit! get back!)

I'm still holding out hope that the weapons have far more range/role overlap. The stratification of effective ranges in PS1 was absurd. There are other things you can do besides reducing damage or making the things stupidly inaccurate.

Sure, the thing is a close range powerhouse, but that doesn't mean it needs a cof the size of a barn. The style of weapon has its own balancing built in.

Its big and heavy. You move slower, turn slower. Maybe you can't run while shooting.

Its held at waist level. You cannot crouch behind cover and shoot.

It has no sights. You have to walk the tracers to the target, or use a laser sight that gives your presence away.

It has no secondary utility slots. No grenades or laser pointers or anything of the sort.

Even if it is plenty accurate and quite damaging, there are plenty of downsides that can be logically assigned to the weapon to make sure its not OP.
