But what I'm wondering about, where/how do I get the software?

Are there further limits in the demo version? except for battle rank 6 and 30 days if im not wrong?

I've downloaded the software for an earlier trial from gamershell.com, and after installation I noticed it didn't work.
It seems to have updated, so can I use this software for this trial?
That trial was called PlanetSide Reserves demo...

Unfortunately, Reserves has shut down forever afaik.

i think this is a great way to stop fraud and only letting people interested in planetside try the game

This is not a reserves key, we received these keys directly from SOE and they are unrestricted 30 day trial keys. Most of the stuff on the FAQ page I linked has to do with the restricted buddy keys however that download link should still be the correct one please let me know if it does not work!

We use a variety of methods (spy satellites and other classified tools

) to make sure the key exchange is not abused. Thats the reason for the wait times and post limits, in the past when we started the exchange there were quite a few abusers who thought it would be cool to build up 10 or 15 keys so they'd never have to pay.

The restrictions we use deter most of the asshats from coming by, or they get frustrated - thus usually only committed interested folks play the game.

Hi, there is two questions i wuold like to know the answer

1) The installer, in this forum, is a 'auto-patcher' of some sort?
2) Did you know if PS accounts is avaible to South America too?

The installer yu can find on this website has an auto-patcher included, yes. Itautomatically scans for updates every time you launch PS.

On another note, i've been having fun on Werner, performing guerilla tactics with the NC folks. So far, i like it.

Now i wonder the game runs properly, i need to play an improved battlefield :P Unlucky this isn't the one year free trial... Thx anyway ^^

[Edit] Ouch!!! Does this key works only with subscription?!?!?! I thought that it was to take a look into te game, not to pay a month of!!!

If you activate a new station account with this key it should grant 30 days of playtime.

100 keys. Atleast we'll get enough for one cont lock for a month. 8) assuming they all use the same server.

Did you think about purposely doing key ammounts based on conts and servers? (assuming you could) any number for any server times 3. So, for one cont filled for one month get 399 keys and hope they atleast fill one server well or very well. 8)

Though I guess you would still have to account for playing times. But it would be interesting to pass them out to a point you have it crafted to fill the game in a certain amount.
