you gotta factor in the multiplayer aspects.... which clearly places Halo2 above those other two by quite a large margin.

I've yet to have the pleasure of playing Halo 2, but it's on my x-mas list!

From what i've heard, it's an exceptional game, but i somehow doubt it will be anywhere near Half-Life 2's majesty.

Time will tell.

Same here, its fairly generic Multiplayer but its fun with all of the cool weapons. I equally enjoyed Far Cry and Doom 3.

I simply cannot recommend Half-life 2 enough.

If given a choice between a night with Sandra Bullock or owning a copy of HL2...HL2 would come in at an extremely close second.

Squeeky the game runs great even on low-end machines. You'd be surprised at how efficient Valve made it.
