I can only speak towards the China players in PS1, but for the love of god give them their own damn server and don't let them play on the US ones. The amount of TK'ing and downright stupidity of their players is shocking. I'm not racist, just anti-stupid and anti-asshat.

It's not about how it'll affect the US. You know there are people who aren't from the US on here, right?
It's about how it'll affect Planetside's success, and about PS2 marketing around the world.

Er I must have missed something. Who is Pro7 and why is SOE not dealing with Europe?
I hate this, after Tera and Raiderz and a few more games on the way I always feel europe gets the short end - Hi Frogster!

Edit: Just saw RadarXs post and I am even more confused. ProSieben are a TV company, if i remember correctly.

That is amazing though, huge promotion for a game. As much as I dislike soccer, this makes me happy, can only be a good thing for PS2.

Yes, they're doing quite a good job in advertising their games in German TV.

Firstly Read up on Drogba and what he has done for his home country the ivory coast. He stopped a civil war. So Putting his name to a game which involves killing people is highly unlikely. The guy is an ambassador to world peace and football.

It's quite interesting to see Drogba representing Planetside 2, I would never imagined anything like that.

Here's my opinion: I don't think Drogba's endorsement will make a difference, yes it will attract more Chinese players but if anyone here thinks that more Western gamers will be lured into PS2 then you would be mistaken. Usually when famous football players move to some no-name football league like in UAE or China they are forgotten by American and English press and no one really follows up on those players anymore.
This is good news for the9 because it means more gamers in China where there is arguably a bigger gamer base than the US, but nothing the9 does affects us in the West.
