I respect that you guys are vets, but seriously - Wake the hell up.

You should be estatic that your precious game is thrust into the spotlight, I'd assume with a huge budget.
Tobuscus and Seananners are huge on the Youtubes.
They will either create a much larger player base, or at the very least bring in a bunch of newbs for you to kill - Surely you have to let go of your elitist view for a second and see this will greatly benefit PS2.
Sure it's not exactly as you want it.
If they had put some "well known" PS1 vets as the commanders, no one would've given a shit. Outside of you guys no one would know who they are, how would that garner the game attention?

I'd go so far to say whoever thought of this, and the chosen commanders is borderline genius in the marketing world, and deserves a fat pay rise.

Don't know about "good choice" or not but I understand him being the TR rep. But SeaNanner and Tobuscus feel WAY out of place. Neither of them have any PS2 videos on their channels that Iv found to boot. So why them?

Another thing Id like to say is.

Honestly I still don't think the game is ready for all this promotion. Server-side the infantry and aircraft rendering needs to be fixed. Client-side needs more optimization, plain old bugfixing and a tutorial is necessary.

Just like they did with releasing on Steam before the game is ready, SOE Is going to blow their wad by attracting new players who will then be put off by a game that's not ready yet and never will try it again.

Lets face it guys, only 10% of current Planetside2 players are original Planetside players. That means that 90% of current players are new to Planetside and it will soon be 1% to 99%. So we should get use to new people by now.
