Yeah, action movies in general are VERY unrealistic.
Best example (Segal, big surprise): some prison movie, not sure of title. Inmate shoots iron bar door with anti-tank rocket (for some reason in a police armory, right alonside an M60  ) and the door simply falls over after the smoke clears. There is not a smiley to describe my mental/emotional state after watching THAT piece of shit.

Yea I hear that. I seriously think one of the best gun fight scenes I've ever seen was the big one in Heat. They play no music during it, and the sound is so good you can hear the shots echoing in the city streets and hear the sound of the shells hitting the ground. If you have a good sound system, you really need to watch that movie (or at least that scene) if you've never seen it.
Other than that, yea hollywood is crap for realism, but I can't say I care that much. As long as a movie is entertaining and not to far fetched then I'm satisfied.
