Half Life 2 is going to rock. Right now while waiting for new puter for PS I play Half Life constantly. Personaly in my opinion CS sux, buncha noobs to gaming runing around thinking they are 1337 |-|4x0rz and cheaters. I personaly cannot wait for Half Life2 Day of Defeat. Its an awsome game and will even be better now that there is trackless vehical support! P.S. Gravitron gun is sweet!

your right people are. I mean, how do we know hl2 is gonna be "one of the best games ever" or Doom 3 is? from clips at E3? From developers record and media hype.... I dont go by those things.
In fact if i do i find i am often dissapointed. My friend told me about this website a while back, like at the start of the beta. I could have joined but i didnt because i knew if i did, before even playing planetside, i knew it would make me think the game is the best thing ever (and i personally think it is a very well done and enjoyable game unlike..... some people)
Ill read a few reviews when hl2 comes out..... then ill rent or buy it and if i like it keep it

eh, a game never lives up to the hype, but the anticipation that it might is all part of hte fun, for me atleast.

Expecting HL2 to be the best thing ever is setting yourself up for dissappointment. I think it will be a really good game, but I don't really expect it to be the best thing ever.

As far as how long will it distract me from PS that'll depend on how many days it takes me to beat single player. That's kinda hard to predict though because it will depend entirely upon how long the single play scenario is. C&C Generals distracted me for all of 4 days which is how long it took me to beat all three scenarios and then beat the American one again because 15 Particle Beam cannons is just so much fun

Actually, hes right. I know for a fact Halo 2 is going to pwn entirely too much ass. HL2 will obviously be great, same with T:V.

Man.. itll be like gaming nirvana. Too bad my ass will be in Germany learning how to use Javelins and learning how to snipe from marine corp bizitches.
