Oh but I was only talking about those 3 assault rifles. Both Gauss and Vanu assault-rifle list "long" at range category. The description of the vanu one makes it clear that it will do most damage in the short-medium distance though.

Well I really dislike the TR. I don't know I just don't dig that loyalty until death thing. I mean it's kinda cool but it's just not me style I guess.

sPooT i've read the discription but lets think here.. an assault rifle whit very little recoil... should make it better at range than it's counterparts for laying down fire because less recoil should mean more precition.

well it's all theory til we've played the game but it's fun to theorise hehe

Anarchy is retarded, and the NC winning would just result in a huge civil war that'd end with rebellions crushed, and the NC themselves handed their collective asses.

Oh, and the TR aren't oppressive. They'd be oppressive if they restricted education, abolished written language, and eradicated history. They're restrictive, but necessarily so, as you can't run an Empire that spans worlds if you preach freedom. Otherwise you have people like the NC starting rebellions and causing war and violence to disrupt the peace.

The VS are the coolest! I mean, look at the hover vehicles! I have some infatuation with hover vehicles.... It doesn't really bother me that you guys don't like the Vanu, that thought will make it easier to kill you, and more of you to kill!

Yeah when I come to think of it, it doesn't make sense either :P It seems the Vanu's Assault rifle has a confusing description being both low recoil AND most effective at short-medium range. And you're right, theorizing is fun too

I'm not sure how you or your outfit plays, but I'll shoot at any enemy I see. It doesn't matter what empire they're from. I'm sure most peeps here will back me up on this one.

Holy crap blitz look at some damn pictures, don't post crap if you have no idea what you're talking about. First of all the tank does not hover 10 feet above the ground. If you look at pictures it seems to be about 1-1.5 feet above the ground. I'm pretty sure that'll be able to run over pretty much everything. You'd have to be prone to not get hit... and guess what, there is no fucking prone

EDIT: Everybody is assuming that the Vanu weapons are weak. The Devs are not going to allow the weapons to be unbalanced, they are all balanced in their odd little ways.
