1st try:2.4 megabits per second.
2nd try:1.9 megabits per second. 3rd try: 2.1 megabits per second. 4th try: 2.3 megabits per second. i did some math based on those 4 and my average is 2.1. but im not good at math so it cuold be wrong. i got cable also. on that page also: Rating:Compared to all connection types worldwide, yours is fantastic Last edited by HawkEye; 2003-07-24 at 02:10 AM. |

... is a bit slow thismorning... ill have to run it again later.... then call my int company and tell them its too slow..... *note: Cable tech works by routing everyone through a single cable line, so if the number of people using it is low, your speed can be about as good as a T1... however if many people start using the service in your area, the preformance can drop below 56k in some cases. DSL works by giving you a line that *should* pump xyz amount of bandwidth (below max of cable, but well above avg speed if many people are using it) regardless of the number of people using the network since you have your own line.

I dunno if this is a good thing or not, but this is what I got
. . . . . . Ok first off I found a way to screw up its test, and here's what I really got: 2.2 megabits per second [EDIT] Posting that picture now making me wish I didnt delete the shot I had of Fileplanet. I had a -132597 so minute wait, these kind of screw up in numbers just crack me up |
