Indeed, had my finger on the submit button until I realized that it's an additional 12.95 or whatnot for signup. I pay enough for PS and SW:G as it is.

Understandable, but again, thats $12 for a year. Plus, you can sign up and play for 45 days, at which point if you still don't think its worth it, you can leave without paying a penny.

It sounds much worse then it is. As I've mentioned, we rarely lose a member b/c of our fee's.

Its just one way to make sure SG is around for many years, in many games.

PS is $12.95 per month. Joining SG means it's $13.95 per month. One dollar. And, as we all know from watching TV, you can get a lot for a buck these days. All calls are $0.99 for the first 20 minutes! That's access to SG for the same price as a 20 minute long distance call.

YMMV

It's not that, it's the fact I would have to pay via credit card which is a problem, because, A, I don't have one, and B, because I really don't like the fact that I would pay money to speak under com protocol on those voice servers. Do not misunderstand me, I think the orginization is great, but I couldn't justify that for "break", "contact" and "emergency break". I'd want chats and team interaction too.

Then again, if I could get a Tee-Shirt, it'd be on

What's YMMV?

Join Zerggrenadier today! Link up with 200-odd other dunderheads and use your 1337 b00mstickz to pwnt t3h v4nu and T|2! W3Wt!

Or join ND and come ingame with a small group of people who you get to know and can rely on to give you a good time and responsive orders.

You decide.

...He said what I was thinking...

Sorry SG, but you guys operate like you're the only ones playing the game, blowing spawn tubes when it's not necessary, and generally just running around like you own a base.

Wow. The first reply was an agreement, not a blatant flame from Dunderhead #137.

Your mileage may vary.

SG has a lot of members. They also have a lot of structure. They play PS and are made up of people who like to play PS. They aren't any different than any other outfit except everyone I usually see on PSU is bad mouthing them. I can't make anyone just let it go rather than give SG a bunch of shit, but I'm not going to let SG's concept as an outfit goad me into putting them down.

Nice movie. Im not surprised it was easy (compared to other outfits) to organize it, etc. since your actually paying to be in the outfit. Deffinitly wont have many lone wolves.

Personally, i dont like the hardcore groups. Just play for casual fun.

ya know, you could technically get in trouble for the movie. I dont give a shit but....

Since they are making money with their organization, they are breaking IP and copyright laws with their video. Unless of course they have written authorization from SOE and each music artists.

Accually it was miir who brought this point up. Seeing as he makes movies too, well he has to know this stuff lol.

I wouldnt go posting links to this in the OF forums....
