Well, I had the chance to sit in the #6 Blue Angels F-18 Hornet my last year in the Navy. I was 6'3" and I barely fit inside the aircraft. The Blue Angels fly with virtually no avionics on board; they rip out all the fire control radar and associated hardware too. They only have basic Nav and Radio to get from Point A to B. The height rule is only for fighters. You can be 6'5" and still be a pilot. The military still needs transports and support planes as well. There is no shame in not being a fighter jock. Most ppl wash out of ACM training anyway.

Speaking of A-10's....
I was playing a LAN game of Janes Fighters Anthology with my brother a number of years ago. And he'd always whoop my ass with F-22's. Like 3 games in a row.
So I took him on with the A-10's. 10 on 10.

Obliterated him

If I would like to fly anything it would be a C-5 or C-17. Just cuz I'm weird like that.

Nothing weird about it at all. My dream plane is a AC130. Big, slow, and gorgeous.

Yeah just saying some of the people might find it weird cuz everyone wants to be a fighter pilot. I knew a few years ago I wouldn't settle for anything below the Raptor

. But now I'm beginning to enjoy living more and more :P so I'd rather stay out of harms way. Plus I still get to be important, shipping M1s and stuff. Fun.

my geometry teacher last year was a recently retired 160th SOAR blackhawk pilot, best damn chopper pilots in the world, Nightstalkers, those guys can get you through any national boarder, frontline, whatever without raising a single suspicion that they're there, truly talented pilots

Damn, I'm 13 and I am around 5 foot 9, which probably means I will be well over 6 foot. Plus I think I am going to need to get glasses soon. Even if I was under six foot and had 20/20 vision I prob. wouldn't fly a fighter, most badass thing in the world but I value my life.

if i could fly a plane, which i cant, ( bad vision ) it would be a A10, nothing is mor4e bueatiful than that plane, with that HUGE gatling gun in the cemter, 1 shell from that cannon can take out a tank, as long as you hit in the crew compartment

Search and Rescue. Like if you fall off of a ship, or eject from a plane, a chopper goes out, and when they find you, these guys jump out of the chopper and drag your ass up.
