eh, yes it is... i had far more fun in coop than in regular sp, and many reviewers would agree with me

now, if you would be so kind as to present valid reasons as to why it's coop isn't that great, then i'd be happy to debate it with you

i said it wasnt the first great Coop that people say it is, im not saying coop was bad, it wasnt, but im only saying thats not where the game stands out, the first great coop game was prolly Doom IMO, not Halo. Halo is good, i enjoyed playing it, i remember many good moments with that game, but im only saying that Coop in games has been done before, so its not where the game stands out.

i definatly think the best thing about Halo was the Coop, my friend and i would spend hours just playing that same level where you drop in on the beach, over and over trying to do it diffrent ways, i.e. alien wepons only. nothing beats gettin in the warthog with your best bud and kicking some alien ass.

for console, its perfect dark, i loved going co-op with friends in that game.

for PC, its HL, Tribes2 or BF1942.

Single player it'd be either System Shock 2 or Halo for me, for Multi i always liked T2, PS is good too, but not best game evar material.

I agree, co-op wasn't the best thing about Halo...don't get me wrong, the co-op was hours upon hours of entertainment, but the best part about Halo was the multiplayer... easily the best console MP game ever created.. if you would like to debate this fact, find about 8-16 people, 4 copies of Halo/Xboxs/TVs and Hub, few ethernet cables, and a place to play.. you'll be hooked... and yes, the setup is easier than it sounds

YEA. i feel the same way, i remember setting my Xbox up onto Gamespy, and going against people, man, those people on gamespy are good
