Goddammit! I'd argue about that but we had to drive away one of our priests for molestation.
It's actually gotten to the point where the Church is importing priests from other countries because the American ones are so nasty. Back when I still went we had an Italian priest and a Polish one.

Using any type of birth contron is a sin to almost al forms of christianity. And I dont get the dont no marry thing the bible itself says in hte new testament you have to be married and have kids to hold a position in any place in a congregation wiht any responsibility so how do you do if if you aint haveing sex!
Im reffering to a scripture about you must be married ,you must have control over your children(be a good parent who is emotionally above them), you must not be a drunkard, etc. |

No birth control is rather stupid but organized religion has spawned many things worse. Not accepting donated blood from someone outside your religion when your life depends on it springs to mind for instance. My girlfriend's family would not have allowed her to get a blood infusion from someone outside their religion even if it meant the difference between her living and dieing. When we were talking about this (I forgot how it came up) I was dumbstruck. How anyone could believe their child would be better off dead then accepting blood is, and probably always will be, way beyond me.
That reminds me. I have to get a straight answer out of her if she would hold that belief if our children were in that situation should we get married yadda yadda yadda. If so I have a feeling there's not going to be a marrige

you know, my ma, her last pregnacy, the doctors fucked up, and ignored her, no they wernt doing anything, and it turned out that a nurse not even assigned to her heard her screaming and went and did something, blood and what not was everywhere. well she and the baby came threw, but no more kids, and just to be safe, she takes the pill, so as far as im concerened, orginized religions can go and shove it |
