VS, why bother?

ok. if you want to follow the storyline (not gameplay balance) then I guess it makes sense.

TR have ROF
NC have Damage per shot
VS have Agility (dont even with start with instant AP ammo, I am not going to shoot a tank or max with my beamer/pulsar and the Lasher's is non exsistant)

Now with CC the primary strength of the VS is compromised (for story of course). MAXs arent an issue, as the jump is pathetic.

I dont feel the weapons are overpowered themselves (extremely limited ammo) the vech are. (though the maelstrom seems a bit too much with the gernade thing)

I understand that now your happy cause you finally get to go over water, but trust me, no cover vs any amont of armor gets you dead. Just stop and think about a sec, how many MAGs have YOU seen rush from over the water to say, skip the bridge. Reaver/Prowler/Vanguard bait. MAGs have to move in cover to stay alive, i know. Its the only way to beat a Vanguard 1on1.

But you know what? I dont care anymore. VS havent won the server (Emerald) in days. I dont care. Each empire has one thing that everyone else wishes they had all the time. Jackhammer. Pounder. Magrider. Looks like NC and TR get their wish.

But it doesnt bother me. I forsee many nerfs in the future. And with the devs crappin on VS now, only means we get a boost later

PS. I think the TR were crapped on too with the the "deploy" function, but I suppose thats just me.

2: The Pounder sucks ass now.
3: Who would play any empire but VS if all the agile units were VS? The theme only goes so far.

Trust me, VS isn't weak. If you want, TR will gladly take your sniper-tank, Lasher and jumping MAXs and you can have our stuff. If only.

i know my outfit would rather fight TR than VS. Those maxes suddenly kifting off are a pain in the ass t kill with unguided weapons.

And BTW In CC, remeber the new tech that createss a sheild wall in fron of base so no vehics can go through? Yeh, well you maxes STILL jump the wall.

Everyone thinks their own empire is crapped on by the devs. All I should say is that you need to shut the hell up because whining only makes you look like an ass.

First of all i guess i worded that wrong, i meant the normal/nonjet jump for ALL maxes was pathetic, not the VS "special".

Second, where did i say VS was weak? Or the Laser sucked? Or the Mag sucked? You need to reread my post.

Also, the MAG is not a "sniper-tank" get a VS character, you obviously havent tried it. I'll take your god damn prowler any day, that thing rocks (in the right hands. And if you want to trade Lashers for MCG wtf? MCGs own. And dont even start with that pounder sucks ass now shit, its still the best MAX.

Welli disagree with the pounder being best max. It all depends on what situation it is used in. The sparrow max for example has had alot of complaints in the past. So has the VS maxes(but to me all there run together).

the pounder is awesome inside or out. crazy range. or if you prefer maybe switch to indirect fire and own everything in a tower until i have to reload.

you mean theres another pounder anchored next to me? ok then you have to wait until im out of ammo. (exaggeration i know)

Well i dont have the phoenix so i cant say anything about that, but i do have the navguard cert so i cna speak here. If i am driving a van, i keep it moving. ALWAYS. and typically if i am defending a base, i am doing it from outside the walls with ANY vehic i am in. Otherwise i am just waiting to be hit by reavers or decimators or boomers or orbitals. Maybe i miss the times when the NC just sit in bases with them, but i find it more usefull to be out there hitting you before you can engage your jets.

omg i used to think that psu a place where i could post with intellegent people, im not saying that our weapons suck or anything like that. im saying that its not fair that the other empires are getting our special abilities, jumping maxes is a big boost seeing as last time i checked it took no stamina, and they CAN get over walls if you have any brains, its called a skeeto elevator... the vanu have lost their edge in battle, not saying that our weapons suck, and i didnt post this in OF because i thought that i would get intellegent posts here. READ what im saying dont just assume im a typical VS complaining about some weapon
