Good LARP: Paintball fortress attacks, medieval fights as shown above by Spider, etc.
Bad LARP: Throwing red rocks while screaming "FIREBALLS!" and pretending to die. I win the thread.

oh and i admit it i would carve out bamboo and make samurai swords, but i didnt throw rocks and people or swing sticks around acting crazy... it's just they took my fencing sword away from me :-( *edit sorry larp=live action role playing*

Looks like the thingy spider is talking about is alot like what the SCA does here state side.
I have done a few battles... no magic, no shop ownership... but alot of smacking with the ratan of might! And even in plate it stings mighty fierce. The people who play the live action dnd are tards. I have no problem with pen and paper version but keep it in your mommies basement!

Holyshit that is ghey! It would be so much cooler if the nerds would use real weapons and shit because then they wouldn't look so lame and secondly there would be a lot less of them!
and yea this thread makes me feel like i need to take a shower it is so messed up.

 As for the comment above made by squeeky... I don't really mind what you think. I'm actually making something constructive with my time and I'm learning skills aside from computer and masturbation. I don't say those skills will be usefull or anything but it's fun. It's a hobby like any other and I doubt anyone here can call someone else a geek since well... look where we are *cough*. Anyways come see me when you got it by a 6 foot latex pole with a PVC pipe in the middle shaped like a spear then knocked off your horse by it... this aint no pasty white nerd sport... althought I am pretty white....

www.amtgard.com one of the people I used to play games with in a clan was a part of it.
