Still, I have a hard time feeling sorry for french citizens who support a government which sold nuclear technology and conventional weapons to Saddam for oil contracts, then accused us of liberating Iraq for the oil. I won't say I wish they were all dead. I just wish we had never kicked the germans out of there

The fall of hitler never was the end of the Nazi empire, some time after his fall Allied forces were still fighting for their lives against Nazi troop. If allies had left france full of germans it would have became a stronghold and the new birthplace of Hitler's heir... but I digress..

two things, first, the war is iraq isnt over untill our troops are home and iraq can take care of itself, second, the only nazis we fought after WW2 were small numbers of gurrila soldiers. and by after WW2 i ment after hitlers death, and the germans surrendured the next day.

By that logic WW2 has still not ended because we are still based in Japan and they need us for their defence. The war was over the moment Bush said it was. What's going on now is reconstruction with foreign terrorism. The war was to liberate Iraq. Mission accomplished with an Iraqi approval rating of 70+%. Just because some clown wants to come in from Iran and blow up a restaurant doesn't mean the wars not over.
