I'm never going to sleep... I have a client's server who's primary hard drive died, and it is appearing that ALL of their tapes are dead.

I think in the books they call this one the "worst case scenario." hehe...

Does kinda make me think about the nature of how little money people want to put into computers... If I can not get their data back the company with ten employees, and their entire company history will be gone; they are a law firm, so likely they will go out of business. Yet people will oooo and ahh over $600 more on their server to make sure this doesn't happen; this distaster will end up costing them $5,000 in my labor and they were down Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and most likely most of Monday.

Whats also funny is I write a work log for all large jobs... It is basically a time stamped word file with everything that I do. So if some client says "why did you charge me X hours" I can send them a timestamped log of when I did what; usually it is too technical for anyone but me or my peers to understand. But my work log is up to 19 pages long... Nearly 10 pages longer then any previous work log.

In theory, you could... I don't think I'd enjoy it on its own, though. It needs penis or lots and lots of skin to taste good.
