All Frog could hear was the quiet hum of the Galaxy engines from within it's passenger compartment. Him and the rest of the squad took a brief layover to the Terran Republic Sanctuary to dispose of the dead and to contact High Command about the damage done to Pwyll. Now, they were en route to Searhus, the volcanic continent at the core of Auraxis. He pulled the pump of his Sweeper shotgun back and forth, checking the mechanism. Sitting next to him was LunarWarrior and Black, silently checking their Mission Objectives list. The objective for the mission was to get into Pele, a base on Searhus owned by the NC, their fortress. They were to plant explosives on the generator and certain superstructure points, detonate them, and extracate before the whole thing went up. They were to meet Hamma and BlackDrop at Oro, the base across the caldera from Pele. CDL and another TR for this job were going in via the backdoor and moving in to lay the bombs. A direct fight was highly discouraged.
"OK boys, welcome to Oro, Searhus," the Drop Captain asid over the dropship intercom. "We're dropping down now, get your shit and pile out."
"You heard the man," Reign cut in. "Everyone out, I'm sure the welcome wagon is expecting us!"
Searhus was a land of beautiful beaches, lush forests, and a large, reeking caldera in the middle. The squad was dealt the latter for this job, something they all weren't too fond of. Hamma, BlackDrop, ho, and the other TR: a young Special Assault expert named Doop. They were all waiting by their transports: 2 Deliverers and a Harasser were parked in the open section of the courtyard.
"OK gentlemen," Hamma began, standing next to the Harasser. "I'm sure you've all read about what our job is here today. I need you all to load up into the transports, we have the insertion point and extraction points all set up and loaded into your Nav Maps. Here we go, gentlemen. Honor!"
"Valor!" the team yelled back.
"Victory!" they all shouted in unison.
The engines of the Deliverers roared as they began to depart Oro for the fortress of the NC. Honor, to operate efficeintly. Valor, to not leave your comrades behind. Victory, to pull off the impossible. This was the cry of the Dragon Wolves, its echo still ringing through the caldera of Searhus.
