Aye, it's a social stigma that's rapidly being destroyed. Especially with games that everyone enjoys and are based on multiplayer play like the Mario Party series for example.

The Mario games are getting a bit old. It's fun when you come back to it after a few months, but it quickly loses its replay value.

Right, but to someone who has never played them, or any other games for that matter, they can be addictring as hell. Once someone realizes they've just spent 6 hours playing a video game, and that they had a really good time doing it, the thougts of "Oh, video games just aren't for me" starts to break down.
