So basically anything over 12 to 14 inches is over kill. And on porting, I think he found that if you have too much porting before the 9 inches you loss velocity behind the ball. So you'd just want a little bit of porting near the end of the barrel to release front ball turbulence.

and 30 bps is imposible by a human when they get paintball guns up to 30 bps that is with special testing machines
