LOL! That picture of those 2 spiders was posted on another forum I go to. The moderator banned the guy for posting them because he apparently has a huge fear of spiders.
I guess an arachnaphobia person would fucking kill themselves if they saw something like that. Better spiders than a snake.

You're all wrong (even those of you with scientific proof) - it's clearly a dried (baby) Facehugger...
As for the Goliaths, my friend keeps something similar (it's African) which is 11 inches in diameter. When you touch it it's hair falls off. (In case you were wondering)

Ugh, that's gross, Paul.
Well, it's nothing unusual for hairs to fall off a tarantula. Their hairs are coated with irritants that can kill some animals, so it's a very effective defense mechanism. They usually use their hind legs to scratch the hairs off in the direction of a predator.
