Anyway I currently have this big metal thing on the roof of my mouth (maybe that herbst thing because I know it's for overbite), I'm supposed to be wearing 3 rubber bands, and I have two powerchains as well as some new type of wire. I actually stayed home the day after I got em tightened because I couldn't think with all the pain. Good news is I get em off in a month or two (at latest August).

I think that's called a pallette expander, its for widening your top teeth. I had that one too. The thing you turn with a key, if we're talking about the same thing. Ther herbst appliance is different, it has metal telescoping rods on the sides.

I need braces and all but I cant bring myself to get them.You'd have to drug me and knock me out first.After seeing people with them spit and slober I find it kinda sick so im waiting for invisaline or something but NEVER braces

i got mine off in october, they weren't so bad

now i have a retainer which i never wear and when i do i can't sleep because it hurts so much so i never wear it

i have one of those clear plastic-y type retainers.. it kicks ass. i wear it because why not? no one notices and it's keeping my teeth from going all to fuckay.

never had a cavity, teeth are bright white,and straight

My teeth resemble those of a sterotypical retarded person's. Huge gap in the front top two teeth, I used to stick a straw in between them.

Never had braces, and I refuse to get them. Even if I had straight and perfectly white teeth, girls would still avoid me.
