Note the bold text. That's not a blanket statement saying "No human will read your email". It's just saying they don't need people to do the targeted ad crap. We all know that.

Theres a LOT of shit that can fall in those 5 categories. Especially the 4th and 5th one. I can think of tons of loopholes.

That bothers me as well. That should be worded MUCH more blanketly. Instead it means they can share your info with any company that has a relation with google.

It's all about reading comprehension. I've only taken 2 law classes and I can see the problems with that user agreement like a bright red neon sign. The reports done by law proffesionalls, software security experts, and watch dog groups can probably do a MUCH better job of it.

As is, i can't see how anyone over the age of 10 would feel confident signing that.

jeez, Tek. I'd hope you aren't sending any information sensitive enough to be a concern of being read my a company whose service you agree to use. Are you planning an operation with some "progressive element" that wants to take out some major government officials. Maybe a simple murder. I seriously doubt there's anything so important that it shouldn't be read by a company who will undoubtedly pass the information to the trashcan if anything.
