iirc, the series is set in New York and S.K.'s alternate reality, which is like medieval England with gunslingers instead of knights.

Yea it was a very good series... my favorites we're 'Vector Prime' and 'Traitor', got the hard back copy of the final book for Birthday... haven't had a chance to read it tho.
