Well first they said the 14th and then later on in another thread they kind backed off on that date so if I were a betting man I would say it won't be tomorrow

I'm also getting "You currently do not have an active paying subscription for PlanetSide(tm). Click here to subscribe!". This is after reseting my station username & password, logging in again and checking to see that the 30 day trial for planetside is indeed enabled.
Looks like the station functionality to enable non monthly subscribers to request keys has broken/been disabled/never worked. Shame, you'd have been more than welcome to them all |

I recognize your good intentions Hamma, but I hope everyone who donated realizes that SOE holds the account that generated a Buddy Key responsible for any actions that buddy key takes.
In short, if some fucktard uses your key and causes a bunch of trouble, it's on you.

I have never heard of such a thing. I believe that they actually hold the person being a fucktard responsible and take actions against that particular key. I am open to proof otherwise that this is true however.

I highly doubt that is the case in fact I'm sure I would have been advised of that when I notified SOE that we started this project.
And besides that point most of the people who are getting keys really do want to try the game, and not be asshats to everyone around them. |

You should look into it then. I seem to recall it being stated before, and it's the Customer Service Department that will have the answer, not the Developers. It would be a shame to see this feature bite anyone in the ass.

We checked into it about a week before launching. I have not seen any other official statement as to something like this - and nobody has been "bit in the ass" yet and we have given away well over 200 keys.
Edit: next time new post not edit 30 mins later |
