Ya, it's the same thing. Except for the fact that it's an entirely different game, built around a new engine.

It's a fun game, and the gameplay itself is a far cry from previous BF titles.

Right now, i'm not playing anything. This comptuer sucks like a blackhole.

When my computer is done being built (tomorrow), i'll probably pick up BF2+Euro Forces. Oblivion. Red Orchestra.

No, the squads and command system make it totaly different.

Tribes is/was FPS perfection. It can not be compared to BF.

If twichy gameplay is what you like fine.

But as you say you can't compare the two, not on which kind of gameplay happens to be better. From my perspective Tribes(and UT and quake ect.) gameplay couldn't get any worse.

Anyway I'm playing Oblivion.

Tribes takes ~~more~~ a different skill than Quake, UT, BF or any other FPS. The jet packs and the "slow" projectile speed from the weapons changes everything. The only weapon that didn't have a projectile speed was the laser rifle.
