Peace a $95 sound card is a $95 sound card, and it's not crap. The X-Fi stuff is quite cool.

The 8800GTS is the only card on the market at this moment I could recomend, if you want it to last(because it's the only DX10 card)

I think that a DX 10 card is a bad idea right now... Vista just released, basic laws of supply and demand etc.

except that DX10 cards aren't really in demand as no current games need it(aero only needs DX9 capable hardware).

The cards sell for the bog-standard price for their palce in the market as high end.

I was looknig at this, its not 768 or whatever mb but i think this would be perfect for what I would want, seems like it will last awhile and its cost effective. Ideas?

wait, we were talking about sound cards? I musta missed something I was talking about a video card. And you have to admit, a 95$ video card is normaly not that good.

That's the card I refered, it should work nicley.

In reality; your better off waiting for a midrange card. Although if you have a PSU that can support it. Go for the 640mb with sales and rebates you should only be playing 40-50 dollars more.

Although I found that if you send tech 3 fighters.. probably 15-20 of them after one of those ugly beetle like cybran gunships they own it up with minimal casualties

Takes a while but it works.

Man, I was playing earlier and I sent a squad of fighters off to take out the UEF jets, and my guys all got owned, except for one of them, who then proceeded to kill the remaining 4 UEF fighters on his own. It was great.
