I predict, for three months, the Vanu will be in organized, fighting retreat, after losing a quarter of their land. One on one they will be kicking ass, but losing due to lack of numbers.
The New Conglomerate will remain about the same as it began. The Terran Republic will be advancing into Vanu territory and beating back NewCon attacks (but not for long ) Why? Because the Common Pool, richer than Bill Gates^2, will launch a doomsday fleet of remotely-piloted Galaxies with Heavy Laser 100% accuracy turrets and nuclear weapons in the cargo hold. They will cut through the factions like a hot knife through butter. A swift and complete victory.

There are no empire specific aircraft.
If you like Machineguns, uzi's, fully automatic weapons, Try The Terran Republic If you like shotguns, grenades, explosions, Try The New Conglomerate If you like High-Tech, speedy, energy weapons, Try The Vanu Sovereignity Edit: I personally think the TR is the best overall |

Nightmare, all indications point to the fact that the TR Prowler will be the heaviest armored tank in the game.

no one empire is the best from what it has, it's the people who make an empire the best. you have the best people, you have the best empire. the empires were made quite equal so not one empire would have an advantage over another. now we all know that there are advantages and disadvantages to all specifics in weapons to vehicles. you must choose an empire that best fits your likings, do not let other people choose for you. |

My very humble Theory:
Each faction has its merits. NC: Firepower + MAX Shields: With higher firepower, a good NC will be able to use less ammo killing enemies (Depending on the size of NC clips). With a shield, an NC MAX will be able to stay alive longer in a battle thus having a chance to kill more enemies thus gaining BEPs in that respect. This setup will work great for NC's indoors. Another advantage is perhaps the enemy would run out of ammo faster trying to kill NC MAX with shield on. TR: High Rate of fire: I believe TR will be great at chewing up squadrons of enemies due to their high rate of fire. In other words, by getting more bullets fired in a shorter amount of time means that you have a better chance of killing passing by enemies, vehicles, max or squads on the field resulting in serious BEPs. Running into a TR's outdoors would probably put a big damper on completing your objective of getting to point A to B. TR MAX would make great defensive role inside bases or protecting TR assets on field. Imagine a TR MAX clamped down and preventing any enemies from entering a base, using a terminal or even getting close to your squad. I guess this type of security would work well offensively aswell. VS: Mobility: What good is capturing a base if you can't even get there? I dont think VS MAX will have to worry too much about getting waylaid on the way to make a base attack, thus making them extremely effective against TR and NC. A VS commander role will be particularly effective because of this. Im not sure what to say about their aggrevated damage weapons other than it probably cause lots of chaos and panic for the target effecting judgement and morale (heh). Summary: Each faction has its merits. Of course its up to the player to take advantage of each factions special skills and figure out how to use them both defensively, offensively and how to adapt and overcome the tactics from opposing forces. of course, I could be talking lots of nonsense, but that's just my very humble opinion based on the information provided off this site. Personally, I'm picking NC because I love the MAX shield. I just want to be able to get close enough with that crazy shotgun they have hehe. -Pingpang outfit: The Nine Lives |

Gee,you think the developers would make one empire better than the others in a MMOFPS?
It depends on what you like... Also,i think that the NC MAX shield WILL have some disadvantages.If it's so powerful,then it should prevent you from moving or using firearms or something like that. Btw i'm with the Vanu. I'll just spam now. |
