One thing that strikes me.. The terrain did look to be an improvement over ps1, especially in regards to infantry cover, but i reeeeeeally hope all maps aren't that claustrophobic..

dont know if anyone has touched on this, but theres a big clue in the trailer to how something will change

the scale of the buildings, theyre huge, so tall infact, that regular running would be impractical, which leads me to think

Looked like there were a few jet packs being worn, but I couldn't see any in use.

I really hope mud and dirt sticks to our armor while playing, but when you pick up a new armor it looks fresh

the models told me that this is either in the far future from the current story, or before it. not sure which, but the weapons seemed to look heavier and more solid than they do currently. my guess is that it takes place before, story wise, the present day.

where is indar? it seems to be a desert or desolate landscape, from the brief view it doesn't look like a polar continent. so it isn't esamir or ceryshen. it looks like its more in line with ishundar, or even solar. in the middle of the planet, desert areas. maybe closer to the tropical rim?

new continent where old oshur was perhaps?

I doubt all the terrain will have tight constraints like the one in the trailer. It definitely has a more realistic touch to it.

I know it's just a trailer and probably not indicative of the real game, but I was bothered by seeing units running at each other with their guns firing.

I hope when we see the real gameplay videos people are crouching to manage their CoF not moving around in the open like that.

//edit woah that trailer has that Galaxy banking... That wasn't possible in the old game. So that means we have 6 DoF now? 'cause that would be nice. Not that I want to loop the galaxy. (I will, but that's beside the point).
