My quality setting is on 8 out of 10, so I might just jack it up a bit more so long as my performance doesn't take a huge hit. I think my resolution should be fine, it's almost 720p (it's half 1080p, I don't expect my cpu can handle more). As for bandwith, my up is 2Mbps and I've set my limit to either 650 or 700. I'll turn it up a notch to ~1000 probably and see what happens. With luck that will make it much nicer like how yours is.

Many people don't recommend streaming above 720p, they say its just a waste. unless you have massive upload then I would say upload at a max of 720p or as close to as you can.
and Coreldan your right, but I dont like the idea of you not being able to watch them, as you like many others should not be out of it all down to your internet connection. Its just not on! |

You can present your idea to these guys: http://www.quake-live.tv/
They might be looking to move to focusing on covering a new game soon.

This is a great idea! Never underestimate how much people enjoy watching other players do something amazing. Streaming is becoming more and more popular these days and we look forward to seeing what you come up with.

First off please correct your spelling of "reasion" at the bottem of your first paragraph.
And second awesome idea. With it I hope some of the more memorable battles, people can toss in footage they have collected and every couple of months you release a montage/AMV of that paticular battle showcasing all the really neat/akward/funny/amazing moments of it. Also if it really took off if you could get a deal with SOE, the top player for the day or something could receive ingame reward such as finishing 20% of the time of whatever skill currently being learned. Or 5$ cash for station shop. |

that´s great news! back to a question from earlier in this thread: will there be recoring options in the game for easy moviemaking? like recording the playsession without HUD but leaving it visible for the player? |

So I'm bored, and made a stream, testing to see if I can broadcast with my laptop. Won't always be PS, there will be some LoL thrown in there, show off my suck, maybe some CS:S occasionally.

Hey I actually have been streaming some Planetside 1 lately on Twitch, and have had plans to stream Planetside 2. I tweet whenever I go live @FavionCast and my twitch channel is http://www.twitch.tv/favioncast. I'm mainly a Dota 2 caster, but Planetside will always be my favorite game. I sadly don't get many viewers for Planetside 1 currently, but I stream in 720p, with like 200 FPS in-game. I'm actually thinking of streaming in a few minutes here, would this interest anyone?

Heh, no pressure though, seriously. The project is a good idea that will be good for the PS2 community. Just put as much heart into it ongoing as you have already and it will be a success. Of course, you know Higby is into esports, so I'm sure the he, along with other devs, will be checking it out. Big opportunity here to give back to the devs for all they've given to us. The fact that the project is already getting various kinds of help from many people is a good sign. Can't do something like this single handed. Where would Hamma be without Gryphon? Keep building up contributors and get help wherever you need it. Just like PSU, this is an idea that's bigger one guy. |
