Hell knows, honestly, I voted ATV (because of, what people here called it, nostalgia), but All-Terrain Vehicle is indeed supposed to be an APC of some sort. Quad however reminds me of quad cannons, in particular this one:

Why not give it an actual name? Naming it 'ATV' or 'Quad' is like naming tanks 'Tank' and galaxies 'Air Transport'. If someone told me their ATV brand name was ATV, I'd tell them "I know what it is, but whats its name?" like some who's on first skit.

Something like 'Roadrunner' or 'Cheetah' could be cool. Raptor?

I could get behind this. We don't call Sunderers "Truck", the ATV should have a name. It's like a baby that's reached 21 years of age and is still called "the baby".

ATVs were never called atv's, it was the name of the cert. Basilisk, Fury, Wraith.

General Purpose vehicle, aka Jeep. People call MERCEDES vehicles in the same off road vehicle class, jeeps. Even if that is a different brand. Just saying, it can be good commercially.

Besides, how many people called the Leviathan, Juggernaught or Vindicator just Sunderer? Being used to that.


Same for BFRs, you don't really use the specific names, just the category.

I mean that Higby is most likely looking for the way to define the vehicle, rather than the way to call it. I think it's for the cert name. It would be idd very stupid to call every other vehicle by its name, while calling quad bike by its definition.

EDIT2: Because if you're looking for an actual vehicle's name, then neither ATV nor Quad is appropriate.

Wow I completely brain farted that. Yeah. Fury would be best name for the ATV. It was the most commonly used by far, even though it wasn't in at launch.
