To be honest, I'm not sure if I like the direction of where the customization is going. I know A LOT of you will not agree with this, but I think this goes a bit too far. I'm NOT looking for a hardcore, 100% serious game at all. I'm alright with silliness as long as it fits in with the style of the game.

For instance, I'd gladly buy customization for vehicles if they had things like this. Obviously not verbatim, since some things won't work (the "Easter egg" bombs, for example) but just the general concept of it. Silliness that can fit into the art style of the game.:

Things like that would add to the immersion as opposed to having leopards or zebra skins all over the place. Things don't have to be 100% serious, yes, I wholeheartedly agree. But silliness doesn't have to contradict the style of the game.

And if animal skins and the like must be done, it would definitely be easier to swallow if they were in faction colors. Personally, I'd love a black and red Terran zebra skin on my Galaxy.

Lol love it T-Ray. Ya know if a skin isn't popular then people won't buy it often and you won't see it often. So who cares? More options is a great thing when it comes to a f2p game that offers customization.

It's better than the "if I buy this then no one will see me" camo that some folks here have been advocating. If you don't want to be seen, cert Cloaker.

If anyone cares, VS and TR both have around 16-17%, while NC has the rest at like 66% on our poll

I guess it's clear who wins

I really really wouldn't use this specific kind of customization.

I'd rather have all-white with purple/teal outlines. Patterns is just not my thing.

That's exactly what I said... if you want to be a sneaky git then suit up as a cloaker.

I'd prefer that everyone run around in proper empire "dress" uniforms, but if we've got to have custom skins, may as well go for loud and garish patterns as opposed to "lawl I'm a tree" camo.

But i like being a tree. Unless there is Siberian Camo, then i shall use that
