VTOLs can't hover like they did in PS1, it's going to actually take a ton of skill to hover properly. If you lay off the upward thrust, you start to fall. This makes the Mosquito better at hovering than the Reaver by a long shot.
The idea wasn't so much as to be an anti ground in that respect as it is to be a ground engagement vehicles, to behind and around buildings to engage targets. Also inside structures a bit.
The idea is rather disliked now, so why not let it die into the abyss of the forums? (unless some of you guys are REALLY passionate on this). I'm going to start pressing more improvement ideas instead of anything too much like this. T-Ray however is stating his want to recreate BFR's the RIGHT way, so I figured I'd put in my idea of it.
Rexdezi, I concede to your logic, you are very correct. Though I would suppose a walker would be best for a variable craft with it's landing needs and movement functions. But a tank would be better than a walker in any mobility issue. Other than it's length preventing it from turning in tight quarters, it's far superior. Truthfully though, it should be, when the BFR made tanks obsolete, Planetside REALLY started to decline. It really is what made Planetside alive.
