I don't understand. Please explain.
What happens when you have undersea facilities? Wouldn't you want to have something that can cover that terrain? As an infantryman, I would also appreciate the tactical options an amphibious craft can provide. I think there's a lot of potential for watercraft, you just aren't seeing the possibilities. That said, I also wouldn't mind a Titan-style airship facility a la BF2142. They did show something of the sort in one of the concept art pieces, however it was dismissed as a concept only. A larger vehicle version of the MAX suit. Maybe it can hold two people and have a rechargeable shield to better protect it.
A stealth transport aircraft with a pilot chain-gun on the front. Something that can hold 4 Heavy Assault soldiers and is flown by an infiltrator. A large troop transport aircraft re-purposed for tank hunting & door spamming. It should carry at least 5 gunners, have about as much armor as 4 tanks, and the firepower of 8 tanks. |

If they don't add underwater facilities, that's fine. It would be awesome, but I would never expect it. I just don't understand why water vehicles would be written off based on "an endless fuel supply" as there are many, many reasons to have watercraft in the game.

If it comes into more gameplay effecting mechanics, I think a recon focused vehicle would be cool. As of now (correct me if I'm wrong) the Gal and Sunderer's are really the only support type vehicles. The rest are offensive. I think more support and defensive vehicles should be in the game provided there is enough gameplay elements to warrent them. I always thought having communication outposts and radar would be a cool feature/mechanic and would have vehicles to support it.

that or like entering a vehicle you'll just pop inside the load bay after a short delay but magic seems most likely

The Deliverer should be amphibious again for naval warfare.
It could be an ANT or the chassis of a radar vehicle |

I remember hearing them say something about the buggies already being modeled, sorry if that was mentioned somewhere in this thread.
I believe they are waiting to include the buggies until after the game is released though, which I don't mind. |
