I don't get it. Seems a bit random to have a footballer's name on PS2 :P

its to spread more news about the game n its the games name on Drogba's shirt. Hes pretty famous, mostly for being a professional diver xD and a lot of people follow him so when they see planetside on his shirt they'l want to see what it is

Being an American, I'm not much of a soccer fan, although I have been getting into it more lately. I really love the whole no commercial breaks thing. So while I'm a casual fan of Manchester United, I think I might just have to switch allegiences since Drogba is repping PS2 now.

This is pretty damn cool.

So glad that Drogba has left the EPL. Good player but I have a real dislike for him.

I looked at him holding the shirt and never even realised it was the Planetside 2 logo until I looked at for a second time (I noticed the little 2 at the right hand side) and was like "OW! that's what everyone is going on about" .

Saying that I can't wait for the first Spurs vs Chelsea meeting.

Did he actually leave Chelsea, or is this just a side thing he is doing?

You can absolutely expect PS2 at ChinaJoy although it's not quite like GDC. It's more of a GamesComm type event. It's on par with the size of Comic Con.

Fahrenheit is good too.

Wow! You're the first non-American I've seen who doesn't disapprove of the imperial system (and Fahrenheit).

I actually disagree with you. I think we should change to the metric system. It's a lot more logical (everything's on a base 10 system), in addition to being used in loads of equations.

Fahrenheit makes sense though. You could argue that Celsius is more logical in the sense of water (0 freeze, 100 boil), but Fahrenheit is much more useful in just regular conversation and non-cooking context.
Observe:

Also, I must say. Warm beer?

Well I imagine that Didier Drogba would by default get beta access, as he is a promoter for the game.

My question is: Can I have his invite? as I'm pretty sure he won't use it.

edit: Actually he'd probably give it to his nephew or something. So don't worry... back to checking my emails....
