The first anime I was exposed to was the Robotech series. Out of the three that were aired here in the states, I still love watching the Third Generation, and have the entire collection on DVD. Something about transformable motorcycles I guess.

The one that should have continued was the Sentinels. It had such a good future, then the powers that be decided to end it. That sucked. I did play the Robotech RPG and participated in a Sentinels campaign. That was very fun. Rifts/Robotech were fun RPG's, especially the Juicers in Rifts.

I used to like the Counterstrike powerarmor and the Glitterboy powerarmor. Juicers were cool but after a few years they died.

I liked Ghost In The Shell and the Animatrix series, but some other ones like Ninja Scroll are weird.

I was introduced to anime with Robotech. That was good. Then I saw Dragonball Z. I can put up with that, but I'm really starting to hate that show. I saw Pokemon. Nearly commited suicide. Saw Gundam Wing. Thought that was awesome, so I watched the other Gundam series. Quit that in a day. Saw Evangelion. Restored my faith in anime. Saw (starts with R) Kenshin. Started to think anime is really great at this point. Saw Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop (was kinda put off by the name). Good stuff, really liking anime now. Saw Love Hina. Laughed my ass off.

If you watch the good ones, anime kicks ass. I feel sorry for those introduced with Pokemon and DBZ.
