Any plans for more automation of base defenses so their not just a big NTU sink?

Any plans for a better tactical view of the battlefield for commanders ala tr---s? Even if it was only on the scale of say one base?

Will they implement something similar to the Zones of Influence idea someone had earlier, where each base essentially gave control over a province-sized swath of land?

Will they increase the value of bases and make them much more difficult to capture (i.e. 1 Interlink Facility captured gives all facilities latticed to it automated turrets that fire on vehicles only, 2 Interlinks capture = same thing but fire on MAXes too)?

What sort of pacing to they envision for Planetside? Will it stay like it is now (cont lock in 1-2 hours) or will it slow down?

Will the address the issue that bases are much, much weaker than towers considering that towers have an infinite supply of NTUs?

Will Planetside gain any strategic depth on a regional, continental, or even global scale? Or is Planetside doomed to remain as strategically illogical as it is today?

-Do they intend to implement a system where battles will take place in places other then bases and towers? (like adding certain key geographical areas to the lattice)

-Are they going to vary base layout?

Question: Overcrowding is an issue that needs to be addressed. I didn't exactly buy Planetside to sit in a warp bubble. I bought it to freely go where I want and when I want. What are you going to do to do this?

Lodestar?


Have you made a decision on whether or not Lodestars will be able to carry AMS (just for the record my vote is no) what about sunderers? Will the loadstar become basicly a platoon transport?

Here's a comment in regards to the Myplanetside.com stats pages:

First of all, a great emphasis is placed on the killers of every empire. Perhaps we can add various statistical support numbers as well to give credit to those that keep the killers alive. For example, would it be possible to add a top 10 list for armor repaired/health healed? It's just a thought.

Secondly, the top 10 killer charts are a bit misleading. Many of those particular individuals are simply great twitch players that have a lot more time on their hands. Thus, it is fairly similar in scope to the top 10 BEP receivers - i.e. those that play the longest. Many veteran FPS gamers (myself included) would like to see such scores balanced out with Kill to Death ratios.

I have no idea how difficult any of these things would be to implement, but it would add a lot more color and give credit to those well deserving support role characters.

I think the most valuable stat would be a time played/kills/death ratio. That is the only true test of a players skill. Would the dev team consider implementing such a stat?

I hope so, Hamma...but we got zone crashed during our Op yesterday. I think this will continue to be an issue for a while. I have faith that they will eventually fix it, but I think lag monster will still live come June 19.

Let's hope not! But hey, it wouldn't hurt AGN any if the servers went down and people tuned in to us because they couldn't play PS..

Actually, the best would be kill efficiency: kills / (kills+deaths)
