It sounds like they are pretty busy with the SOE community night event, which is still going to go on for another few hours (until 9pm). So no surprise that today is a slow news day.

Personally I was hoping (wishing) for another stream, but oh well.

I think people are in tech testing right now. The masses probably will not get anymore information until Monday.

The DL works now. It takes you to a log in and if you log in it says you have already signed up for beta. http://www.planetside2.com/download

The thread below was a sticky for at least a week and clearly states the beta begun on July 12th so thats all there is to it.
Its got the answers to all your questions.

That was still speculation. Higby promised to cut his hair when people were going to be let in and everyone immediately thought OMG BETA. I don't blame them for thinking that, but it just didn't work out.

I just hate being left in the dark. The very LEAST they could do is tweet when / if they are sending out keys today and if they have already they could tweet that they already have and no more would be coming our way.

If they can tweet meaningless crap all day they could at least spare a few minutes to tweet something we care about hearing more of.

What I'd like to know is...

How many people are tech testing?

Will more keys go out every day from this point on... or for the tech test was it a one shot deal with invites sent out?

Simple questions to answer. Simple request to make of them.

It's hard for them to answer questions because they have press regulations that hinder the flow information to us.

It's a test, they will test when they need to test you got it? It's not just another 'lolbeta'.
