I've only been in BWC for a couple or more weeks now, and I must say I was a bit apprehensive of the type of reception I would get there since I've a civilian background. In fact, I was worried about chest-thumping, epeen waving, chickenguts displaying, "Shouty McLoudface" types. I was pleasantly surprised that the folks I encountered were mature, helpful, patient, disciplined individuals (men and women alike) who take the time and present opportunities for one to develop his/her skills with a strong focus on teamwork which ultimately leads to great camaraderie.
If you can follow directions, follow chain of command, and not act like a self-serving jackass, then BWC might be your ticket to some great gaming. Oh, yeah, and although I'm in the Mechwarrior Online Division, I'd like to thank the Planetside Division for being so welcoming and patient with the MWO folks you've trained and let run with you. Had a blast at the challenge last night! |

You guys did an amazing job. Frankly, I was incredibly impressed that a bunch of never-played-PS-before guys would do so well. Youse-guyses game was tight, it was BWC-style, and it was a definite asset.

Last night's operation was A W E S O M E !
50 people in two platoons. TS server was a packed house. More people joining as we went along. Everyone working together to keep the VS and NC on their toes in the their own holdings. The new guys who had never played did a great job of following basic orders and staying their posts. Those of us with only a few weeks experience got the opportunity to feel like we weren't the noobies. The true vets got into the spirit and helped the new guys learn on the fly. The best way to sum it up in a word: A W E S O M E ! Can't wait for PS2 with the higher-end graphics and new features and mechanics. |

PS2 is going to be even better. The night some of the developers came on to PS1 and raised the population limit, it gave everyone the feeling of the small battles in PS2. I can only imagine when everyone is fighting for 1 base.

TRay was just young and influential back in those days. As a budding fashionista, he was going through the faux artistic "curves are cool" phase. Although he's certainly moved on, one's early years are hard to get rid of.
Maybe by rolling out with BWC he can free himself from his shackles, and flower as he is clearly meant to. |
