anyone know how long it took them to download this on there connection (please leave your connection speed in your post) dont know? try speedtest.net

Just got this:

I am adding you to the beta right now. The instructional email may take a while to get through the queue and out to you, but in the meantime if you want to get started and to make sure you are flagged and ready to go, you can do the following:

In good nature i too will return to say.. it wasnt working all day.. but now it is

Question,I downloaded the beta,problem is, the damn thing crashes the before I can even see the loading screen and redirects me to a page with the planetside 2 logo and an under maintance message over it,anyone know how to fix this,im itching to play it.

I seem to be downloading at 1.2MB/120-150Mbites per second on a 30mb connection sad but guess they have to throttle everyone because of how many were just accepted.

SOE is dedicated to it's customers I have always felt that way, and with the Sony we set high expectations, and they produce, this is just a beta.

OMG I'm downloading!!!! Just FYI I purchased PS online at 9:00pm last night and now I'm in. Before you complain that I'm not a true vet I was in the PS1 beta from day one and played it for 1.5 months before release and then 2.5 years afterward..but don't remember which email I used and lost my boxed copy.

Game continually freezes or crashes

Run a file check to verify that none of the game's assets have become corrupted. Open the LaunchPad and click on the Wrench icon in the lower left. Select Validate Game Assets and then click Validate. The program will run through a check of all of its files. If any are corrupted, Uninstall and Reinstall the game from the same menu.
