Cool, i'm going to look into it. What's your resolution and level of detail?

1920x1080 which is my monitor's native resolution. I believe the level of detail was high/ultra. I'm at work atm so I can't check.

...Is that it? Is the Skyrim main quest over after you kill that main dragon? I thought they said it'd be 40+ hours? I'm clocked in at 14 right now and I don't have anything else to do but sidequests.

lol. One of the devs apparently speed ran it in 2 hours 14 minutes. Main quest in Morrowind and Oblivion was short also remember.

Is the game worth breaking my longstanding rule of never buying a game at original price?

Same build I'm playing. I started as a sword and board type player but after I got used to it a bit I restarted as the wood elf archer/thief type build. It's a lot of fun unless you just can't get the drop on an enemy at all. Double dagger sneak attack backstabs = stupid damage. Dropped a bandit boss in one shot like that.

Yeah this game is really good. My first playthrough is as a battlemage, second will probably be a stealth/thief type, third will be a conjurer, haven't thought much further ahead! There's so much to do.

When I started my character(Imperial Archer Stealth guy who's good with a blade), as soon as I got out of the starting zone, I spun around in a circle and just headed in a random direction. Most fun I have ever had in any game ever.

I just got to the point in the main quest that I learn about shouts and dragons start flying around the map.

After that, I veered off and started doing side quests. Played for about 12+ hours(would have been more if not for school related stuff) and so far all the quests I've done have been side quests I've picked up from random people in the towns I come across. Definitely my new favorite game in the RPG genre.

Well, my first person game is completely fucked up now for whatever reason... I'm still standing when I hit sneak even though the 'eye' shows up, and I can't even roll. I move an inch. However, it works fine in third person. But, it's a damn Bethesda game. What can ya expect.

yea..the game needs an assload of kmods to be playble.

Its alright im having fun, but the crashes are abit of a joke...i should try updating drivers i guess..but what can i say, im stupid.

but the UI and controls are so console it makes me angry also the graphics...they suck balls.

rocks are basicly square, that might be 6 polygons though and maybe abit to high for what im seeing. there is shit all lighting effects, enchants look the same as they do in morrowind..you have a poison effect on your bow...it has a green 1 pizel glow and is now tinted green...grats. it looks pathetic. faces look alright, but hair is extreamly dull, along with the water effects and all other lighting I am disapointd for a new engine.

The rest of the game like the new leveling system is a vast improvment over oblivion and morrowind, nolonger am i running around with a notepad(because i cant alttab from oblivion...JUST LIKE SKYRIM!!) to plan and maximise my leveling.

Its still fun though.
