Oh, and on topic: glad I was wrong and that it wasn't the JH but the Sweeper. It looks good, really.

I used the Sweeper all the time in PS1

Kind of dissapoint that I'll never touch it because it will be a cold day in hell before I fight for them.

on the plus side, we should get a "USAS" stylee Auto shotgun to replace it

ok, we could guess that by the color and maybe even by the empire logo on it...

what he didn´t specify: is this a ES nc weapon, or just the NC version of a common pool weapon like the boltdriver we saw?

it´s still a problem to be totally clear in statements...

ups, he actually DID say it´s not common pool... hm is this the nc heavy assault weapon?

how i would like to see a chart that puts all weapontypes of all three empires next to each other, so we could see what everybody has for which roles

The Empires get ammo from NS, but NC made the gun.

Why would we assume the Sweeper is being treated any differently? Both it and the Bolt Driver were initially common pool weapons. It sounds to me like NC get the Bolt Driver and Sweeper "in name" but all factions will have their own sniper rifles and shotguns.
