News: Upcoming MLG Weekend Events

Does anyone know how Nexus will fit in with the rest of the continents we currently have. I heard Nexus will have 2 warpgates and that only 2 empires can be let in at one time. So what will be the mechanism to pick the 2 empires? I imagine it would have to be an achievement in all the other 3 conts. For example the 2 empires with the most territory on all 3 Indar, esamir, and Amerish will have 1 warpgate each open up on nexus.
Anyone hear anything about how it will work?

When continental locking come in my guess will be that you will need to capture a specific warpgate to access it. This is due to the fact that they will use battle island as connections between continents to make sure people can still log in to continents. Long term indar , amerish and esamir will be 2 way fights instead of the annoying 3 way we have right now

Is this connected to the regular game, or is it just PS2's version of a BF3 map?

The way I understand it, Nexus will be available just like another other continent. It will only support 48 players though.

The stream itself was pretty good, I dislike MLG but the stream was fun. It was way too tempting to just jump in and play though. Especially when I saw hamma jump into fights with 5v1 odds. TwF had the future crew behind him so getting at him was a pain in the ass and Sardus ran with his outfit (Even Jennyboo was in a platoon!) but poor Hamma was just getting smoked by himself
