Now hopefully its an actual quad gattling, doing exactly what 4 single 30mm guns would do and not like the "dual 12/15mm" guns in ps1 which were just single guns but with an alternating CoF making them actually worse than a single gun.
In other words it better not just be cosmetic, if you want to make it do less than 4x a normal gun then use less guns, dont put 4 just for looks, thats retarded.

FUCK yeah! I really can't wait to see the close air support in Beta. No longer will Galaxies be useless for anything but hot-drops! I really want a viable air platform Terminator style...come screaming in from the sky, apply brakes and hover while support gunners blast the shit out of everything beneath you to clear the landing zone. And WTF? 150mm cannon on the LIBERATOR?! o I was a dedicated Reaver + Liberator pilot in PS1....used to LOVE mowing through infantry and armor alike with my Libby's nosegun, and if another aircraft was dumb enough to come at me head on I'd rip through them too. Tailgunners were damn near worthless, which is what led to the Libby as a close support gunship in the first place. With these though...repeated bombing runs, armor column escorts, and various other transport duties just became far more desirable. Plus just think of a fleet of Galaxies coming in with 3 of these on each one (or more depending on whatever the new configurations are!). Holy hell <3 for air support!!!!

And out come the knifes. Aside from that running the lib as an armor support does make sense though I'm still hesitant about it due to the libs slower move speed than the ES fighters and the plethora of tanks on the field. Using these as helicopter door gunner tools however is something that I can definitely see potential for.
Boris brings up a really good point. All 4 should share one reticle rather than acting like the Basilisk did with its two. I don't mind if the damage is low as long as the rate of fire is appropriate. The only Mini-guns I've seen done that felt like miniguns were BF2's Black Hawk's at release but those were over powered and just used shotgun shell impacts to imitate the high rate of fire. Four points of impact on the ground that each wander around in their own CoF would be ideal but I don't know how that would play out with the ingame physics and processing budget.

Limited, but it would take you a good amount of time/runs to finally run out.

Ps2: I have no idea, really but in the GDC videos where Higby was in the tank it showed his ammo for the main cannon I think, so there is an ammo limit I just don't know the details or if it will stay that way since GDC was considered Alpha still.
